How can our administration procure readyplace?
In three ways: through the Cloud Service Portal of the German Administration Cloud, through Kommunale Datenverarbeitung Oldenburg (KDO), which distributes readyplace exclusively in Lower Saxony and operates it in its ISO-certified high-performance data centre, or directly from readyplace AG. We clarify in the first conversation which route is easiest for you under procurement law.
Where is the data stored and who has access?
Exclusively in Germany. You choose between KDO's ISO-certified data centre, procurement via the German Administration Cloud, the Open Telekom Cloud or AWS in Frankfurt. readyplace has no connection into your specialist applications, it documents from the outside. Sensitive content in screen recordings can be masked before publication. Sign-in uses single sign-on via your directory, such as Microsoft Entra ID, Keycloak, SAML or LDAP.
Do we have to document every specialist application ourselves?
No. Tutorials are mapped to services in the German public service catalogue (LeiKa). Standard services that work identically in many municipalities can be created once and adopted by other administrations. For your own procedures you create tutorials in a few minutes by clicking through the process once.
How do we reach citizens who do not speak German?
AI translation transfers a tutorial into over 50 languages and keeps translations current when things change. Because the guidance runs visually on the real form, people with little administrative experience also understand what to do. One example is the fillo app of Diakonie Württemberg, which is based on readyplace.
What does readyplace cost for a municipality?
Licensing depends on the number of staff who create and manage tutorials. Those who only use tutorials, such as citizens, pay nothing. Prices are shown transparently on our pricing page; for administrations in a network, for example via a municipal IT service provider, framework conditions are available.
