Courses with quiz and certificate: make onboarding and mandatory training verifiable
Bundle guides, documents and videos into multi-stage courses. Your employees learn at their own pace in the real system, prove their knowledge in a quiz and receive a certificate at the end – without a separate learning management system.
- Built from what you have. Courses are assembled from content that already exists.
- Progress tracks itself. A guide that has been worked through counts as done.
- Proof included. Quiz with pass threshold and a certificate as PDF.

Try it: three questions, then the certificate.
Making knowledge available is not enough – it has to land, and you have to be able to show it did
A sequence instead of a collection.
A self-service desk answers questions as they come up. A course leads through a topic in the right order: stage by stage, with a clear end. For onboarding, rollouts and mandatory training that is the difference between “available” and “completed”.
No second system.
Your guides, documents, roles and users are already in readyplace. The course module builds on them – no duplicate maintenance, no second login, no export into an LMS. What you document today becomes a learning path tomorrow.
Proof that counts.
The quiz shows whether the knowledge landed. The certificate documents it – with name, course, date, result and number. The report shows you who started and who finished. For the personnel file, the audit and customer certification.
Build – blocks become a course
In the course editor you create stages and drag blocks into them: guides and documents from your library, plus videos, links, texts, files and quizzes. Seven block types, one editor – by drag and drop, across stages too. The AI proposes quiz questions straight from the selected content.
Seven block types
Tutorial, document, video, link, text, file and quiz – freely combined, each block marked as required or optional.
Linear or free
In linear mode the next stage unlocks only after the previous one is complete. In free mode learners choose for themselves.
Quiz questions from the AI
Single and multiple choice as well as yes/no, with explanations. The AI proposes questions from the course content; you review and keep what fits.
Assign and share – roles, people, short link
Courses reach roles as before – or, for the first time, individual people: the apprentice gets their training plan, the team its rollout training, the new colleague her introduction. Sharing works via internal link, short link or QR code. Courses are never public, so progress and certificate always belong to one person.
Roles and individuals
Both can be combined. If neither a role nor a person is set, all members see the course.
Short link and QR code
A readable short link like readyplace.net/k/data-protection for intranet and mail, a QR code for the notice board and the training room.
Customers and partners
Signed-in customers or partners can take courses too – through a dedicated role in your instance.
Learn and test – progress that maintains itself
Learners see their progress as a ring, work stage by stage and pick up again with “Continue at …” exactly where they left off. Whoever works through a guide or reads a document has completed that block – readyplace detects it automatically. The quiz is scored exclusively on the server.
Progress tracks itself
Guides and documents count as done once they have been worked through. Videos, links and files are ticked off with one click.
Continue and repeat
Pause without loss, repeat stages or restart the whole course – for the annual refresher, for example.
Quiz with pass threshold
Correct answers only become visible after passing. Not passed means: try again, not guess.
Prove – certificate and report
After completion learners download their certificate as a PDF: with your logo, name, course name, date, best quiz result and certificate number. Administrators see in the report who started and who finished – for the personnel file, the audit and customer certification.
Certificate as PDF
In German or English depending on the course language, only for the person who completed the course. After a repetition a new certificate with a new date is issued.
Report for administrators
Started, in progress, completed – per course at a glance. Because learning data is personal, we recommend involving your data protection officer early.
No separate LMS
Everything runs in readyplace: no second licence, no second login, no duplicate maintenance of content.
Your benefits at a glance
From reference library to verifiable learning success.
- No separate LMS. Content, users and roles are already there – no duplicate maintenance, no second licence.
- Verifiably trained. Certificate and report document who completed what, and when.
- Knowledge tested, not just provided. The quiz shows whether it landed.
- Quick to build. Courses from existing blocks, quiz questions proposed by the AI.
- Precisely assigned. By role or to individual people.
- Repeatable every year. Reset stages or whole courses and run them again.
Companies across Germany trust readyplace
What companies use the course module for
Wherever knowledge must not only be available but demonstrably absorbed.
- 01
Employee onboarding as a learning path
Weeks 1 to 3 as stages, the existing guides as blocks, a quiz to finish. New colleagues always know what comes next; HR sees who is done.
- 02
Software rollout with proof
An introduction video, guides for the key workflows, a quiz on the typical mistakes. After the rollout you know not just who received the training but who passed it.
- 03
Mandatory training with certificate
Data protection, occupational safety, hygiene: set up once as a course, repeated every year by resetting. The certificate goes into the file, the report into the audit.
- 04
Customer and partner certification for software vendors
Signed-in users or partners complete a course on your software and receive a certificate with your logo. Trained users ask fewer questions and stay longer.
- 05
Training in tax firms and public administration
The training plan becomes a course: procedural knowledge stage by stage, assigned to individual trainees or new case workers, with a quiz before the next section.
Frequently asked questions about the course module
Do we need a separate learning management system for this?
No. The course module is part of readyplace and works with the content, roles and users you already have there. There is no second login and no duplicate maintenance. If you already run an LMS, tutorials can still be exported to it as SCORM packages – the courses themselves run in readyplace.
What does a course consist of?
Stages with building blocks. Seven block types are available:
- Guides and documents from your library – progress is picked up automatically.
- Videos, links and texts for introduction and context.
- Files to download, such as checklists or forms.
- Quizzes with a pass threshold, placeable anywhere in the course.
How is a quiz created?
Either you write the questions yourself, or the AI proposes them from the selected course content – you review, adjust and keep what fits. Single and multiple choice as well as yes/no questions are possible, each with an explanation. You set the pass threshold. Scoring happens exclusively on the server; correct answers are shown only after passing.
What is on the certificate?
Your logo, the learner’s name, the course name, the completion date, the best quiz result and a unique certificate number. The certificate is generated as a PDF, in German or English depending on the course language, and is available only to the person who completed the course.
Who can see learning progress?
Learners see their own progress. Administrators see in the report who has started a course and who has completed it. Because this makes personal learning data visible, we recommend involving your data protection officer and, where applicable, the works council before introducing it.
Can customers or partners take courses too?
Yes, as long as they are signed in as users of your readyplace instance – for example through a dedicated role for customers or partners. Courses are deliberately never public, so that progress and certificate are always attributable to a person.
How does an annual repetition work?
Learners or administrators reset individual stages or the whole course. Progress starts over, older results no longer count, and after completing again a new certificate with a new date is issued.
